The Truth About America’s War On the Muslim World [VIDEOS]

Graphic comes from LoonWatch.com

The following videos contain testimony from former American soldiers who served in the military during the Iraq and Afghanistan Wars, but have now turned against them. They tell of horrors they’ve witnessed, as well as horrors they themselves have at times participated in. Today they are saying, “No more!” They won’t be the puppets of Exxon Mobil and British Petroleum any longer.

Dr. Dahlia Wasfi: “Since World War II, 90% of the casualties of war are unarmed civilians, a third of them children.”

This next video is a compilation from the 2008-09 war on Gaza.

Ever wondered what Rev. Jeremiah Wright meant when he said “terrorism begets terrorism” and “hatred begets hatred”? Watch the following:

  1. Very moving post. I am very sympathetic to enlistees in the US wars on Afghanistan and Iraq who tried to do their patriotic duty only to discovery they were pawns in the neoconservative effort to redraw the map of the Middle East by creating a phantom War on Terror on a phantom international terrorism group that didn’t exist.

    1. I too feel similarly. I try always to remember that the soldiers are more often than not being used as pawns in a strategy cooked up by very wealthy businessmen whose lust for wealth has no limit. This is why I had a rather different view of Bowe Berghdal than many others I’ve met had of the situation. I’m not sure if you’ve ever read my post about that but if you have any time you can take a look at it (-:

  2. This is an excellent post. Thanks for sharing and thank you for all the work you have put into it. If only ….. this is the only way to get the message across and involve the “public” ….. demand an end!!! TY …. Peace ….

    1. You’re so right. I found these while searching around youtube and I was thinking, “this stuff is NEVER told in our mainstream media.” I mean, they talked about the beheadings of the journalist over and over and over again but never talked about the many atrocities Americana and those wealthy companies have done over there. Nor do we hear the voices of these soldiers who are speaking out against the true nature of war. The corporate media exists solely to promote war, capitalism and racism.

      1. You are so right, Caleb. It’s a shame to see without doubt what is happening there. Before media, all was hidden. I would say that similar things have happened in all wars.

Are you old enough to remember Vietnam when it was going on? I do …. I worked with veterans for many years. That is one brave man talking about what he did …. many clam up and “live” with it.

The doctor ..Dahla Wasfi …. m’gosh, she’s incredible. We ARE responsible for what is happening there. The region is totally in shambles bc of greed, profit … of the few.

I am ashamed …. we need to regroup, unite and start demanding.

Thank you again for putting this incredibly complete post together. I shared it … hoping that others see it and open their heart, minds and eyes.

        PEACE!!

        1. Dr., I too am ashamed and I hate knowing that I am contributing to their suffering. I contribute to it even if I do not directly condone it simply by being an American citizen. And I feel so damn helpless, like I wish I could kick out all the greedy corporations and their minions from all these places and create a force field to keep them from returning. Then the people who live in these regions could use the resources to the benefit of their own lives instead of them being used to enrich greedy Western corporate CEOs.

          1. You are so right, Caleb … I think most Americans with a bit of common sense feel the same. However, we seem to be asleep.

I think that it’s up to bloggers, social media … unbiased writers, non- corporation influenced to bring this info out. It’s so sad to see how mighty America has gotten away with this for so long. All that suffering, displacement, loss, death, destruction …. has been brought upon innocent civilians … like you and me. Can you imagine if it happened here???

I can’t even begin to imagine. We have been taken for fools!! …. I think it’s time to wake up!!

Peace …. thanks for what you do!! ❤ ….

            1. I cannot imagine the response, but I know it would of an intensity beyond comprehension. Consider how we all reacted after 9/11, which was a terrible tragedy. But compared to what we’ve done to the Islamic World, it almost pales in comparison I’m sad to say. But like you said, it’s up to us to continue spreading the word any way we know how.

              1. I strongly believe that, at this point, this is the best we can do. We can’t go against those w/ $$ who are behind all of this.

We need to somehow awaken the masses, the 99% …. and start demanding. There’s force in numbers …. at least I truly hope and think so.

                Peace!!
