As the Russian war in Ukraine heats up going into the 6th day of fighting, the Western media has expressed shock and outrage at this invasion in their coverage. Part of this outrage seems to be at the fact that this is happening to European people, as opposed to people living in what these news anchors deem part of the third world or developing nations. The racism in this line of thinking is apparent in the fact that the millions of victims who suffered and continue to suffer at the hands of the U.S. and its allies in wars against Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Somalia, Yemen and Palestine never once gathered this amount of empathy in the press when they were reported on at all. Here are just some of the examples of what has been said in Western media regarding the conflict:
- CBS News: “This isn’t a place, with all due respect, you know like Iraq or Afghanistan that has seen conflict raging for decades. You know this is a relatively civilized, relatively European – I have to choose those words carefully too – city where you wouldn’t expect that or hope that it’s going to happen.”
- Ukranian nationalist on BBC: “It’s really emotional for me because I see European people with blue eyes and blonde hair being killed – children being killed every day with Putin’s missiles and his helicopters and his rockets.”
- BFM TV: “We’re not talking about Syrians fleeing the bombings of the Syrian regime supported by Vladimir Putin. We’re talking about Europeans leaving in their cars that look like ours.”
- ITV News: “Now the unthinkable has happened to them. And this is not a developing, third world nation. This is Europe!”
- NBC News: “Just to put it bluntly, these are not refugees from Syria. These are refugees from neighboring Ukraine. I mean that, quite frankly, is a part of it. These are Christians. They’re white. They’re very similar to people, many people who live in Poland.”
This racism has translated to actions taken on the ground by NATO countries such as Poland, where African students seeking refuge from the war were stopped from entering the country while Ukrainians and their pets were allowed in.
United States Hypocrisy 
You expect this from the Xenophobic Racist Nationalistic Autocratic mindset of America and all its western lockstep draconian nations.

It is astonishingly atrocious that such a large number of human beings, however precious their souls, can be considered thus treated as though disposable, even to otherwise free, democratic and relatively civilized nations. When those people take note of this, tragically, they’re vulnerable to begin subconsciously perceiving themselves as beings without value. (One can also observe this with the many Canadian indigenous children having been buried in unmarked graves.)
Though perhaps subconsciously, a somewhat similar inhuman(e) devaluation is observable in external attitudes toward the daily civilian lives lost in protractedly devastating war zones and famine-stricken nations; the worth of such life will be measured by its overabundance and/or the protracted conditions under which it suffers. Thus, those people can eventually receive meagre column inches on the back page of the First World’s daily news.
If I have to talk about the videos I added above and your article, my earthling friend, actually these racist attitudes are sub-themes of fascism on a larger scale. The events between Ukraine and Russia have caused this infrastructure, which has been prepared for decades, to come to light. What is worrying for me is that the whole world is now rushing to help the Ukrainian people as a result of the provocations of them (new Nazis) and their derivatives and NATO, by removing an organization like Azov Battalion from the status of an ultranationalist group and showing them as patriots. Here we see the legalization of fascism. On the other hand, there are speeches targeting Socialist Russia by Putin who dreams of Tsarist Russia. Security concerns justify him, but he may not be aware of it, he has this concern over Soviet codes, not Tsarist Russia. The dilemma is big, I don’t know how the world will determine the boundaries of nationalism at next. But in the coming period, we will witness that fascism will grow even more, especially among the European peoples; considering that the economic conditions will deteriorate gradually, this will create a situation before the second world war. In my opinion, the USA and NATO will also benefit from this.

A few successful social/labour uprisings notwithstanding, notably the Bolshevik and French revolutions, it seems to me that big business and the superfluously wealthy essentially have the police and military ready to foremost protect mega power and money interests, even over the environmental-stability needs of the protesting masses.
I can imagine that there are/were lessons learned from them — a figurative How to Hinder Progressive Revolutions 101, perhaps? — with the clarity of hindsight by big power and money interests. The police and military can claim they must bust heads to maintain law and order as a priority; thus the absurdly unjust inequities and inequalities can persist.

These monsters just don’t stop! But what’s sad is that there is no hue and cry about this type of attitude and it is because this type of attitude is exactly what those who remain silent have. These mouthpieces are speaking exactly what other whites are thinking and so this is fine with them. I am not one bit surprised, not at all because I have never been under any illusions nor have I ever been deluded into to thinking that most whites have even a grain of humanity in them to begin with.

And don’t forget, the Russians have accused the U.S. of setting up bio-weapons labs in Ukraine and of course, the Americans are accusing Russia even though the Americans have already said that they’ve got bio-weapons labs in Ukraine. Caleb, this is some sick and twisted shit that’s going down. And what’s more, we don’t even know the half of it.

Also, don’t you find it suspicious how the Americans claim these bio-labs are just innocent research, yet Victoria Nuland is worried about them falling into the hands of the Russians? What are they so worried about if the research is so innocent?
