Episode 7 – North Africa
This episode explores the history of the Maghreb after the Sahara dried out, the Amazigh nomads, and the Roman city of Carthage. One important note about this episode is that the bust shown here to be a representation of Hannibal may not be an accurate depiction at all. The depictions of the Military Commander on coins that were made during his lifetime show a man who is quite different in appearance.
