The socialist island nation of Cuba has sent nearly 30,000 doctors and medical experts to 59 counties to combat COVID-19 in an act of solidarity and internationalism. In dozens of developing countries in Latin America and Africa, the Cubans are providing services completely free of charge.

I recently read that the UN has declared Cuba as the only sustainable country in the world – largely because it doesn’t rely in infite growth to survive.

Bravo, Cuba! I find it humorous that bloviating anti-socialist Republicans in Congress suddenly voted for a $2 trillion financial aid bill that is quintessentially socialist. Apparently, when their precious free market economy in is jeopardy, they cannot practice what they preach. Hypocrites!
Cuba is showing the way. The US healthcare system is absolute catastrophe and is part of the reason we are in this mess in the first place. How is that we are supposed to get health insurance through our employers yet as soon as a crisis hits we can be fired without notice?!
