Donald Trump on Tuesday speaking about his Supreme Court Nominee Brett Kavanaugh whose been accused of sexual assault and rape by three different women:
It is a very scary time for young men in America, when you can be guilty of something you may not be guilty of.
This statement is beyond ironic coming from the guy who continues to insist that the Central Park Five are guilty of committing heinous crimes long after they’ve been exonerated and had their innocence proven! The NYPD with the help of Donald Trump falsely accused five adolescent youth of color of raping a white woman in New York’s Central Park in 1989. The young men were convicted on all counts and lost years of their lives locked up in cages before they were finally exonerated in the 21st century after the actual rapist confessed and DNA assisted in establishing their innocence. The only evidence ever linking these young men to the crime were their so-called “confessions” which were proven to have been coerced by NYPD officers through methods that were both cruel and sadistic. While it was the NYPD who falsified the evidence and railroaded the 5 boys, it was Donald Trump who whipped up the lynch mob against them with a racist campaign calling for “law and order.”

Donald Trump is so full of SHIT! he doesn’t know where his shit hole starts and his mouth beginning.
Amen to that.
Good call on calling out the hypocrisy. I saw The Central Park Five documentary late last year and reviewed it for my movie review blog and it made my blood boil seeing all the evidence that proved those teens were innocent. There’s even a brief archived footage scene of 45 which makes that doc so much harsher in hindsight.
I need to rewatch that documentary again soon now that Trump is President. I’m sure it will infuriate me even more.
It’s cool how you’ve seen that documentary before. The scene is brief, but it will make your blood boil when it happens. Keep in mind, that doc came out 4 years before 45 was elected.

Of course. I rented the DVD from Netflix and it certainly was an eye-opening watch.
Of course, what he may really mean is that he laments white, privileged men like himself being accused of sexual assault.
Of course, I don’t know a single male friend who’s been accused of sexual assault, while I know many female friends who have been survivors of sexual assault. I will let that sink in for others who read my comments.
Interesting. And you are spot on about Trump. I think everyone knows what he really means deep down. Sadly In his mind and those who think like him Black people can never truly be innocent.
Yep. And I think that might explain the disconnect between the people he’s defended and people he hasn’t defended (namely, the Central Park Five).

It’s amazing isn’t it? Sometimes I think he wants to say what he really means. It’s only a matter of time. And then the Repubs will be denouncing his words but then still endorse him for President.
