40% of the world’s gay people can be jailed for their sexuality

Noteworthy excerpt:

“South Africa is a world leader in legal protections – being the first country in the world to recognize equal gay marriage. This also comprises most of Western Europe, Australia, Canada and a clutch of countries in Latin America.

Only 14% of the world’s gay people live in places where they have some rights and legal protections, or even equal rights with straight people.”

life-imprisonmentInternational: About 40 percent or 2 out of 5 of the world’s gay people live in countries where being gay can result in a prison sentence and only 14% live in places where they have some rights and legal protections.

There is no global count of how many people are lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender, reports ampp3d.mirror.co.uk.

Hardly any countries count their own LGBT populations and estimates of LGBT people as a percentage of the population typically vary from 0% to 10%.

To get an idea of the global LGBT population,  the percentage used was the British government’s figure of 6% – the one they used when calculating the impact of Civil Partnerships in the UK in 2004, said the report.

There are five countries which are known to kill citizens for being gay: Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Yemen, Mauritania and Iran. We estimate that a potential 10 million LGBT people…

  1. When we consider GOD’S view and thoughts on men lying with men and women lying with women, we see that He destroyed not only Sodom and Gomorah, but all of the towns in the plains leading up to the mountains! It is not a matter of straight vs gay, but obedience to GOD or disobedience. There are consequences to disobeying the Lord, no matter how greatly an individual desires the pleasures of sin, their desire to partake in it will not make it right in GOD’S sight. Loving GOD doesn’t make sin right, neither does GOD’S love for humanity excuses sin! Humanity, no matter how hard it tries, can not turn the Almighty, Holy and Righteous GOD into a god of perversion, unholiness and abominations. And that is what GOD calls “men burning within themselves for another man or women having desires for another woman,” an abomination: a detestable thing! Scripture says that we are judged not only by deed, but by thought as well; so…who’s Report will you believe?

    1. You sound ridiculous. Guess you also believe women who are raped should be put to death, because that’s in the bible as well. And also you believe handicapped people should not be allowed to enter the Lord’s house, because that’s in your bible as well. If you do not believe those things, but you do believe the part where the bible speaks of “men laying with other men”, then you’re a hypocrite who is using the bible to justify his or her obvious bigotry. How else to explain how you pick and choose which sins in the bible matter and which ones don’t.

      1. I am so sorry that truth sounds ridiculous to you, disobedience to GOD sounds equally ridiculous to me. What scripture says: 1.women raped should be put to death? and 2. Handicapped should not enter Lord’s house? Tell me the book, chapter and verse if you can. I am quite surprised at your tone of insult Caleb, I don’t believe that tone is reflected in my statement. My only guess could be that perhaps you are a homosexual/gay?

Thank you for the compliment of referring to the bible as “your bible,” but for clarity sake, The Holy Bible (english for The Holy Book) is the Breathed Word of GOD, I did not author it, but thank you for the suggestion.

Your points I noticed did not attempt to refute GOD’S view on same gender sex, but to somehow call me a hypocrit by stating this view of GOD on this abomination, but not on something that isn’t even contained in His Word. That was a far stretch don’t you think? I’m sorry, but please point out where I said one sin matters over another. If you call one a bigot who clarifies what scripture says, then you better start with GOD the author. Somehow, I don’t believe you are that stupid…it seems to be much safer to revile the children of GOD than it is GOD, but to Him it is one in the same. And Yes, this is in “my bible” too.

What I find interesting is you are the second male, over time, that have been very cordial and agreeable with me on past comments, until I commented on what GOD’S Word says about homosexuality or same sex lying with each other. I learned that the other such male was of such persuasion. The truth of GOD’S Word will certainly bring out the anger and hatred of those who maybe in sin. If this is the case with you, I can only encourage one to repent and turn to GOD. 🙂

        1. Are you so ignorant of the bible that you don’t even know what is in it?
Leviticus 21: 17-23 states: “A blind man, or a lame, or he that hath a flat nose or anything superfluous… or a man that is broken-hearted or crooked backed, or a dwarf; or hath a blemish in his eye or be scurvy, or scabbed, or his stones broken… [He] shall not come nigh unto the altar; because he hath a blemish; that he profanes not my sanctuaries: for I the Lord do not sanctify.”

          1. Boy you are on a roll with your sudden insults aren’t you? The spirit of Satan that causes perversion indeed brings with it a spirit of hatred and anger. The one thing most dangerous to the unlearned of GOD’S Word are those individuals who take scripture and try to use them to perpetuate a general belief without having a relationship with GOD or knowledge of His Word. This is revealed when Satan, for even he knows what GOD has spoken, but yet twists the truth to deceive as he did in the Garden of Eden.

If you were learned of GOD’S Word, you would know:

            1. First off, the Book of Leviticus is a book which GOD gives to Moses the new Laws Israel was to be governed by after their exodus from bondage in Egypt.

            2. These Laws were not given to common people, but specifically to the Black Hebraic Israelites. There were no whites then, mexicans, latinos, American Indians, Mongoloids or any thing else. The human race were all of one kind…Negroid. So GOD isn’t talking to your kind, but His chosen.

            3. Leviticus is a word referring to the Levites, the Levites were the sons of Aaron of whom GOD appointed to be Priests among Israel. The scripture you quoted from chapter 21 is the chapter that deals with GOD’S appointment of holiness for the priests or priesthood, it does not refer to the remaining people or Israel as a whole.

            4. During this era of Israel’s history, it was the job of the Priest to carry the sin offering of the nation into the Sanctuary where the altar resided and offer it up for the cleansing of Israel, repentance and forgiveness of sin. This the priest had to do yearly. In order for the priest not to be struck dead himself when he entered into the Holies he had to be without blemish. He could not touch anything that would defile him, like a dead person, someone with sickness or disease and neither could such a person enter into the Holies where the altar resided.

Now who appears to be the ignorant one who doth speak without knowledge?

GOD was so specific about the requirements of His Priesthood, that they be Holy unto the Lord because they represented the hands by which the sin offering was offered up to GOD for the forgiveness of sin. I don’t believe you would understand anything about Holiness, but if you review my original comment, you would see that I mentioned GOD is HOLY…meaning “without blemish.”

The priesthood was a foreshadow of Christ to come, who scriptures says was the Preist after the order of Melchizedech, not only was Christ the Priest who entered into the Holies having no spot or wrinkle, but He also was the sin offering as a Lamb who offered once His Body and Blood and there was no more need that he should continually be offered up yearly. This means that whosoever will can come to GOD through His Son and boldly enter into the Sanctuary by the blood of Jesus and worship the Father!

You need to get with the times bro …Israelite Priests have not had to offer a sin offering since the birth of Christ!

            1. How is it insulting to point out what is actually written in the bible? Lol it is you who is reaching with your “books of Leviticus is only for the negroid people”… And that explains absolutely nothing as your favorite verse about man not lying with a man as he does a woman a woman is in the exact same book. You said those verses about handicapped people not being allowed into a place of worship and a rape victim being put to death for not yelling loud enough are not in the bible. I showed you that they are. Calling me “angry” and “of Satan” isn’t going to change what’s in the book you very selectively choose to follow. Really I wish you well in your life and since you think I’m Satan or whatever all I will say is that I will pray for you and hope you will not always be so bigoted and judgmental. It only makes life harder on everyone else. Much love. 😘

            2. Also it’s problematic that you think it’s okay for God to discriminate against handicapped people for the priesthood. Whatever happened to everyone being precious to him?

        2. Or how about this gem?
“If a damsel that is a virgin be betrothed unto an husband, and a man find her in the city, and lie with her; Then ye shall bring them both out unto the gate of that city, and ye shall stone them with stones that they die; the damsel, because she cried not, being in the city; and the man, because he hath humbled his neighbour’s wife: so thou shalt put away evil from among you.” (Deuteronomy 22:23-24

          1. The Book of Deuteronomy is a continuation of Leviticus, it is part of The Pentatuch, the first five books of the Old Testament which all were instructions from GOD to Moses, again for the Black Hebraic Israelites and not you or your kind.

Chapter 22 is part of GOD’S institution of The Bill of Divorcement designed to protect wives because their husbands were putting them away without just causes. In Hebrew culture men married only virgins (with a few exceptions) and once a maid had lost her virginity to a husband and then put away (divorced) no other man would marry her. Which meant she had no means of income.

In Hebrew culture, if a maid was found alone in the field and if she was already betrothed to be married, and a man take her to lie with her, but she cries not out to say she is betrothed and cries not out for help if he forces her, then the Law requires both to be put to death, for both hath sinned.

Under the “Law” capital punishment applied under the testimony of 2 to 3 witnesses. There was no Grace Period of sin. Grace entered in with the birth of Christ and the Israelites are no longer under the Law perse, but the Law has been fulfilled in Christ.

Grace and Mercy is something you should be quite grateful for, if you were a homosexual/gay in the Bible days you wouldn’t last long because of immediate judgment. Use your time of Grace wisely and do not take the patience of GOD for granted!

            1. You are really grasping at straws to defend that horrific verse. There is really no justification for killing a woman because someone had sex with her and she didn’t cry out loud enough (meaning she was raped). You say there was no “grace period”, but she didn’t do anything wrong and therefore there was no reason she was in need of forgiveness.

        3. “If a damsel that is a virgin be betrothed unto an husband, and a man find her in the city, and lie with her; Then ye shall bring them both out unto the gate of that city, and ye shall stone them with stones that they die.” (Deuteronomy 22:25)

        4. Leviticus 19:27 states that grooming is apparently a sin:
“Do not trim off the hair on your temples or trim your beards.”
Even eating oysters is an abomination according to Leviticus 11:10
“And all that have not fins and scales in the seas, and in the rivers, of all that move in the waters, and of any living thing which is in the waters, they shall be an abomination unto you”

Are you also going to go spread the message to people who are guilty of these sins?

          1. I mean you are really groping here aren’t you?

Where do you see the phrase grooming is a sin? I have cautioned you, be Careful deceiving the unlearned by saying that GOD’S Word means something that it doesn’t! There is a caution for those who add to or take away from the Word of GOD!

Again Leviticus is referring to the Laws of Holiness and Justice.

“Ye shall not round the corners of your heads, neither shalt thou mar the corners of thy beard.” Leviticus 19:27 This was a pratice of the Egyptians not to be copied by the Israelites!

Again, this scripture wasn’t for you! GOD’S chosen were to be different from the heathen and not do as they did. They were to be Holy and Clean. They were not to shave their heads or beards, they were to be circumcised, not multiply women unto themselves, not worship idol gods, not lie with other men if they were male or lie with other women if they were female, not lie with animals, a man and his father could not have the same woman, sodomy was an abomination to GOD…and the list goes on.

The one thing that was true in the Old Testament and holds true in the New Testament is GOD still requires Holiness in His chosen. If you personally are not living a life of Holiness and Repentance, but one of abominations, hatred and anger…don’t worry -you are not His!

The Bible was written to and for the Negroid Hebraic seed of Adam and Shem, and for the redeemed of whosoever will come. Your arguing is pointless. If you believe enough of the scriptures to quote it to me to proove a point, then if you agree that the Bible speaks against the concept of homosexuality, then why do you not obey it? Who’s the hypocrit?

            Herein is Hypocrisy…

You write posts bashing police brutality and government brutality against African Americans, but your responses here proves that you do the same behavior of those who brutalize AA. You make the wrong assumptions, you attack without clarifying, when you speak you twist the truth, you insult, you don’t listen and you put words into people’s mouths that they didn’t say.

You are the epitome of Hypocrisy and are part of the problem being in denial?

Okay, I’m done. Have a good life, the best you can have without Christ. 🙂
